1In short
No accounts, no sign-up forms, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. We handle as little personal information as a website can.
2Who is responsible
Meepleton publishes meepleton.co.uk and is the data controller for the small amount of personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@meepleton.co.uk.
3If you write to us
We use your details and message only to reply, relying on our legitimate interest in answering you, and delete them once the conversation is over unless we need a record of a correction.
4Server logs
Our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site secure and working. They are not used to profile anyone and are deleted on a rolling basis.
5What stays on your device
No tracking or advertising cookies. Closing the cookie note saves one local preference. The table, the house-rules card, the sand timer and the self-check work in your open tab only and store nothing.
6Sharing
We never sell, rent or trade personal data, and share it only when the law requires us to.
7Official game sites
Official-site buttons take you to other companies, whose own privacy notices apply.
8Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted and object to how it is used. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
9Children
The site is written for a general audience and does not knowingly collect data from children. A parent or carer can ask us to delete anything a child has sent us.
